The Hollister Mad
Dash Award will
be presented to
the person flying
the farthest straight
line distance from
Hollister Airport.
The first winner
must fly at least
150 statute miles
and launch from
the Hollister Airport.
If there is a tie
on the same day,
the one with the
fastest time will
win.
You
must beat the previous
winner's distance
by at least 10%.
The winner will
receive $500 in
tows from Hollister
Gliding Club plus
a rotating trophy.
Distance will be
measured from Hollister
Airport to the landing
site. Out and returns
and broken legs
will not be counted.
The honor system
will be used.

the added bonus of returning home.
Typical flights are flown from Hollister
to New Cuyuma, or Taft, or Tehachapi
and back to Hollister.

triangle task.
